This document provides information on how overseas students can apply for permanent migration.

Considering migrating after graduation? South Australia would like to have you.

Here is a simple flowchart to help you map your way.

South Australia would like to help you navigate migration pathways under the new General Skilled Migration Program, in effect from the 1st of September 2007.

You will still receive an additional 5 migration points for studying in South Australia.

If you still can’t reach 120 migration points with your 12 months work experience, South Australia may be able to sponsor you.

In South Australia we want you to have a positive employment outcome so we are talking to employers to help them understand the new 18 month temporary visa.
