Skilled Independent Regional (SIR) (Provisional) Visa

 

From 1 September 2007, changes have been implemented to the General Skilled Migration Program. Immigration SA is pleased to continue to participate in various visa programs to assist suitably qualified skilled migrants who wish to settle in our State, to obtain their visa from the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship “DIAC”, via the provision of Sponsorships.

 

Immigration SA will be offering Sponsorships for the following visa options:

Skilled Sponsored (Permanent) Visa subclass 176 (offshore) 886 (onshore)
or
Skilled Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa subclass 475 (offshore) 487 (onshore)

 

There are two application forms available depending on which visa option you wish to are elegible to apply for. Once you have been granted an offer for sponsorship from Immigration SA, you will need to lodge the appropriate visa application with DIAC, pay the required fee and meet all other DIAC requirements. You should visit the DIAC website to determine your elegibility to meet all of the visa requirements - http://www.immi.gov.au.
