Meet and Greet ServiceThe Meet and Greet Service is a volunteer service that welcomes skilled independent migrants to South Australia. This unique service, provided by the Government of South Australia, is designed to help you settle quickly into your new home. The free service is performed by volunteers from various cultural and professional backgrounds, many of whom have been migrants themselves and are sensitive to the needs of new arrivals. What will you receive?By registering to use the Meet and Greet Service, you will be appointed a volunteer who will help you with many aspects of your arrival. The service includes:

This is fine, however if you have booked On Arrival Accommodation you should still Contact Immigration SA to make arrangements to receive your keys. We will then book a volunteer and confirm the booking in writing (note: the name and contact details of the volunteer cannot be disclosed prior to arrival). If the above procedure is not followed or you do not inform Immigration SA of any changes to your arrival details, we cannot guarantee that the service will proceed.
