Migrant Employment Consultancy Service (MECS)

The Migrant Employment Consultancy Service (MECS) is a customised service offering employment advice and job search support.

How will MECS assist you?

MECS provides:

Small group sessions
Individual consultancy

covering a range of options to assist you to find work.

This includes:

Advice and support in

Resume and CV writing
Accessing professional, para-professional, trades or business areas
Relevant employment and networking contacts
Job search
Current labour market information
Training advice

Referral to

a range of employment related services

appropriate professional bodies
English language assistance

Who can use this service?

MECS is a free service to assist skilled migrants who have recently arrived in South Australia under the following visa categories:
