Evidence that you have tried to fill your vacancy with local labour
Evidence of efforts to fill the position from the local labour market. Evidence must include:
Advertisements placed in the electronic or print media and the outcomes of advertising. These outcomes include the number of people who have applied for the position and an explanation as to why there were no suitable Australian citizens or permanent residents for the position.
A letter from a recognised professional/industry body or recruitment agency or Job Network Agency supporting the fact that you cannot fill the job with local/skilled labour.
Labour Market Test Declaration (LMT)

Job Description
Provide a detailed job description that includes qualifications, skills, and experience required, and the duties of the job. The job must require Diploma level or above qualifications or trade level qualifications.
A Letter of Offer or Contract of Employment
This letter should state that the position is full-time and available for a minimum of two years and is in accordance with Australian standard remuneration and employment conditions.
NOTE: This must NOT contain a probationary clause.
Wages & Working conditions
Evidence that the employee is to be employed in SA in accordance with standard wage and working conditions eg., letter from the relevant Employer association, Union or payslips of other employees in the same occupation to indicate that the nominee will not be paid less than other employees in the same occupation.
Curriculum Vitae
Evidence of qualifications and a CV that outlines the qualifications, skills, employment experience and referees of the nominee. This should demonstrate that the person is able to perform the duties of the skilled job.
Visa Label
If the nominee is in Australia at the time the application is lodged, please provide a copy of the nominee’s passport page showing the current visa label.
Exceptional appointment
An exceptional appointment is the nomination of skilled migrants who are over 45 or do not possess the required formal qualification or who do not have English language skills necessary for the SA workplace.

If your nomination is exceptional then you must justify why this nomination is necessary:
Age – Explain why the skills and experience required for the job would not be found in someone under 45.
Qualifications – Explain how the skills and experience of the person compensate for their lack of formal qualification.
English – Explain how the person will be able to perform their duties in the workplace if they do not have adequate English language skills.
