Exploratory Visit Support

Exploratory Visit Support is a free service designed to give business migrants the opportunity to explore possible business activities in South Australia.

What will you receive?

We will help you on an initial visit to South Australia, so you can explore business opportunities. Support includes:

• Booking hotel accommodation (in some hotels at discounted Government rates). All hotel costs are the responsibility of the visiting potential migrant.
• Preparing a local itinerary (for business activity).
• Arranging visits to businesses and setting up meetings (such as with industry organisations, the Business Centre and with business specialists).
• Taking you on tours of possible locations for your business.
• Arranging visits to schools, real estate and business agents.

In addition, you will receive advice and guidance on local business issues. Topics covered include:

• Business needs assessment.
• Migration strategy development.
• Contact and network establishment.
• Market research.
• State Government support and sponsorship.

Are you eligible?

Business migrants on provisional, temporary long stay and permanent business visas may apply.

How do you apply?

If you want to use this service to visit South Australia, you must provide a minimum of two weeks notice of your date of arrival.
